Oral-B’s Genius X toothbrush uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to tell users more about their brushing habits and if they have missed any teeth. The prototype was recently showcased at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. While the pricing wasn’t revealed, Oral-B GeniusX toothbrush will be up for grabs September 2019 onwards.

How exactly it works
The Oral-B Genius X uses gyroscope and accelerometer to detect subtle changes in the toothbrush’s location. There are three key features of Oral-B Genius X toothbrush: Position Detection, Pressure Control and Personalised Coaching.
‘Position Detection’ feature makes sure you cover every area, every time whereas ‘Position Control’ gives you a warning when you are using too much pressure. Oral-B Genius X provides users with a personalised brushing score at the end of each brushing session.
