Hero Xtreme 200S Review
The Hero Xtreme 200S’ design seems like an evolution of the current Xtreme Sports though it gets a number of aggressive styling cues. The front gets an edgy headlamp while the sculpted fuel tank and engine get aerodynamic shrouds. Both the headlamp and the tail lamp integrate LED units. The alloy wheels get a new design. The instrument cluster is made of an analogue tachometer and a digital display.
The Hero Xtreme 200S is underpinned by a diamond type frame, which encloses a 200cc single-cylinder engine. This air-cooled unit delivers 18bhp and 17Nm of torque through a five-speed transmission. The rear part of the chassis has been modified to accommodate a mono shock. Both the wheels get disc brakes, which come armed with an ABS system.
The Xtreme 200S will mark Hero MotoCorp’s foray into the lucrative 200cc streetfighter segment. It will rival the likes of Bajaj Pulsar 200F and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
