Hyundai Elite i20 2018
The Hyundai Elite i20 has been unveiled at the Auto Expo. The new Hyundai Elite i20 has now got the minor facelift treatment from the outside, and inside as well. Without the camouflage, we can now get the full view of what the car will be like.
Hyundai Elite i20 Review
On the front, the Hyundai Elite i20 2018 gets all-new bumpers with a wider chin and the signature cascade grille which is similar to Hyundai’s current gen Verna and the Elantra.
The headlamps are the same, design-wise, but now get more chrome inserts with projector units now. On the sides, the alloy wheels are new and look like the design from Mercedes Benz A-Class hatchback, and look premium.
The rear side is where the facelift shows, with a heavily updated design, new tail lamps, new license plate housing on the rear door panel, and new bumpers which get the similar treatment of the i10 grande with faux mesh design.
On the inside, the major change can be found on the centre console, with a new infotainment unit with a touchscreen. We are expecting apart from reverse camera function, it should support Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Under the bonnet, the new Hyundai Elite i20 is expected to get the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel units mated to a manual gearbox. The major change here is Hyundai is expected to introduce a new CVT gearbox on the Hyundai Elite i20 for the petrol version.
