Motorola has finally announced the Moto Z3 with Moto Mods support at an event in Chicago on Thursday. The Moto Z3 is the souped-up version of the previously announced Z3 Play. Both the Moto Z3 and the Moto Z3 Play are the same in almost all aspects, apart from processor and camera departments. The Moto Z3, as said is an upgraded version of the Moto Z3 Play,

Hence comes with a better hardware and camera setup. As for now, the Moto Z3 will be available only in the US for a price of $480, which roughly translates to Rs 33,000 approx.

Moto Z3 Specification Features

The Moto Z3 will serve as Motorola’s flagship phone so it is fair to assume it will house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset found on most 2018 flagship phones. The display is said to be 6.3-inches tall and surprisingly, without a notch. The display will most likely bear the 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1080×2160 Full HD+. Unlike the Moto Z2 Force, the Moto Z3 may not sport a shatterproof design, but it will definitely come with support for Moto Mods that can be attached to its back using the pogo pins seen on the Moto Z series phones.

In terms of optics, the Moto Z3 is expected to house a dual 12-megapixel setup at the back, again a common sight these days. At the front, the Moto Z3 may make use of an 8-megapixel camera.

Although details about the phone’s battery are not known, it is fair to presume that the device will pack a sizeable power source. It is also expected to support QuickCharge 4.0.

In terms of variants, the Moto Z3 is expected to be available in 4GB/6GB RAM options with corresponding 64GB/128GB storage.

According to a TENAA listing, the Motorola One runs Android 8.1 Oreo and will sport a 6.18-inch full-HD+ (1080×2246 pixels) TFT panel with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an unnamed octa-core SoC clocked between 1.6GHz and 1.8GHz, coupled with 3GB/ 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB/ 128GB of onboard storage. Storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

In terms of optics, the Motorola One bears a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, there will be a 12-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, and USB. Sensors on the smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The phone measures 155.8×75.9×8.9mm and weigh 170 grams. The battery on the Motorola One is capped at 2,820mAh. As per the listing, the smartphone will arrive in Black, Gold, and Silver colour variants. Additionally, it appears to sport a glass back design compared to the metal back on the Motorola One Power.

Moto Z3 Release Date

The Moto Z3 (released kind of) is currently available only in the US and there are no words if the smartphone will hit the Indian market or not.

The Motorola One Power also had made its way to certification portal TENAA in China. As per another listing on the Chinese certification website, the Motorola One Power will run Android 8.1 Oreo and sport a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with a 1080×2246 pixels resolution and an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The listing does not show a display notch on the smartphone, however previous renders have pointed towards the presence of one. The phone is powered by an octa-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, possibly the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. This is coupled with 3GB/ 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB of onboard storage. Top 6 Easy Steps To Make Your Smartphone More Secure

Top 6 Easy Steps To Make Your Smartphone More Secure

6 Easy Steps To Make Your Smartphone More Secure: Like a computer, smartphones also have many security-related problems. So far there have been many virus attacks on Android. It is believed that Apple’s iOS is far more secure than Android smartphones. But every smartphone has the same danger.

According to a report from Sophos Lab in September last year, more than 30 percent of Ransomware was detected on the Android platform. With this, 10 million Android apps were put into the category of suspicious.

Now, when mobile malware is increasing, users need to ensure that their phones are safe. With these 6 ways you can keep your mobile safe and secure:

Keep Your Phone Lock: Phone locking does not just protect the device, but it also does not allow other people to access the required data from your phone. a few years ago Locking the device seemed a little difficult. But now with the help of fingerprint sensor and face unlock technology, it has become easier to keep the phone safe. Simultaneously put the pin lock on the phone even after the restart

Keep Operating System Updated: Android users have a habit of not updating the operating system. The most common operating system on Android is the only 28.5 percent market share of Naugat 7 by February 2018. This situation is slightly better in the case of Apple users. The latest version of iOS is the market share of 11.2 is 70 percent.

Google’s Secret OS May Replace Android Leaked Video | Google Fuchsia OS

Many Android users also complain about not getting latest updates on their handsets. With this, the users’ phones can easily get into the grip of the virus. In this situation, if you are not getting updates on your mobile, then either go to your Customer Care Center or take some steps or plan to change your handset. With this, when buying a new smartphone, buy a handset in which updates are available.

Avoid buying unsecured brands: Some phones are famous for getting updates on time. These include Google pixels, Apple iPhone, etc. Budget smartphones also have many options. There are also some companies which are not considered to be in the case of data security. Avoid taking such brands’ smartphones.

Encryption: Keep encrypting your phone storage. Your smartphone has the important data, such as email, contacts, financial apps etc. If your phone is lost or stolen, then you will not want to get the information used by someone in some wrong way. So keep encrypting your phone’s storage. If your phone goes into the hands of someone else, then your data will be safe.

Scans for viruses: In mobile devices, viruses come easily nowadays. To avoid this, keep scanning your phone from time to time. In Google Play too, the virus has come in the apples. To avoid this, scan any app before downloading it from any source.

Do not jailbreak the phone: iPhone users often jailbreak their devices. Due to this, the devices are not safe. Similarly, Android users root their phones. In both of these processes, the user’s phone is not safe, so avoid this.

Google’s Secret OS May Replace Android Leaked Video | Google Fuchsia OS

Google Fuchsia OS is a capability-based, operating system currently being developed by Google. It first becomes known to the public when the project appeared on GitHub in August 2016 without any official announcement.

Google-Fuschia-Operating-System

Fuchsia works precisely the same no matter how big a screen is, and we finally have a working version that you can download on a Pixelbook right now.

Google Fuchsia OS May Replace Android Leaked Video

Fuchsia is based on a new microkernel called “Zircon”, derived from “Little Kernel”, a small operating system intended for embedded systems, which was developed by Travis Geiselbrecht. Upon inspection, media outlets noted that the code posted on GitHub suggested Fuchsia’s capability to run on universal devices, from embedded systems to smartphones, tablets and personal computers.

In May 2017, Fuchsia was updated with a user interface, along with a developer writing that the project was not a “dumping ground of a dead thing”, prompting media speculation about Google’s intentions with the operating system, including the possibility of it replacing Android.

Google Fuchsia Release Date

There is no official release date of Google Fuchsia but there is a possible chance that Google’s new Fuchsia OS can release this year.

Google Fuchsia Operating system

Fuchsia’s user interface and apps are written with “Flutter”, a software development kit allowing cross-platform development abilities for Fuchsia, Android and iOS.

Flutter produces apps based on Dart, offering apps with high performance that run at 120 frames per second. Flutter also offers a Vulkan-based graphics rendering engine called “Escher”, with specific support for “Volumetric soft shadows”, an element that Ars Technica wrote “seems custom-built to run Google’s shadow-heavy “Material Design” interface guidelines”.

Due to the Flutter software development kit offering cross-platform opportunities, users are able to install parts of Fuchsia on Android devices. Ars Technica noted that, while users could test Fuchsia, nothing “works”, adding that “it’s all a bunch of placeholder interfaces that don’t do anything”, though finding multiple similarities between Fuchsia’s interface and Android, including a Recent Apps screen, a Settings menu, and a split-screen view for viewing multiple apps at once.

[Leaked] Samsung Galaxy S9 May Come With 90% of Screen-To-Body Ratio

Samsung is gearing up to announce the successors of this year’s flagship phones aka Galaxy S9 and S9+ in the forthcoming year. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer is reportedly preparing to show off these smartphones at CES 2018 and official launch them by March. However, there are no official words on the same.

Ahead of the launch, Samsung’s Galaxy S9 lineup has been subjected to several leaks and rumours — some suggests it may come with the same Galaxy S8-like infinity display, while other rumours hint at a much-improved camera, hardware and software set-up. However, as the company prepares to unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, there are some reports which claim that these phones will have even slimmer bezels than the Galaxy S8, S8+. Rumour has it that the Galaxy S9 could have a screen-to-body ratio that could touch 90%.

Report of the Galaxy S9’s display comes via SamMobile, which says that Samsung is looking to narrow the bezels even further with next year’s flagships. The Galaxy S9 could have a near non-existent bottom bezel, while the top bezel will be narrower than that seen on the Galaxy S8. Samsung will still need to keep some bezels on the forehead as it will house the front-facing camera, sensors and earpiece. If the rumour is true, the Galaxy S9 could have a screen-to-body ratio that is nearly 6% more than that of the Galaxy S8+, which was at around 84%
